Renamon Bust - Eye Catching

Eye catching for more than one reason :3
Welcome to the magical world of my mind. I like to think my working mind is much like the witches realms in Madoka. Totally surreal and crazy crap going on and its as interesting as it is terrifying. Tangent aside. I think to myself "Which characters would be great to try and draw?" and considering im more furry than id like to admit. I generally lean more towards the furred characters. Then it hit me. Renamon! Ive attempted it before but i couldnt get it looking good by any stretch of the imagination (Mainly coz i have no experience in Digimon). So i left it and then i revisit the concept and get it looking good enough to attempt to draw in gimp and i had an artsy inspiration take over. The result was me colouring everything in black n white bar the eyes (and the nipples ... obviously XD ).

I really like showing a progress in how i draw/ colour and so i thought id try something different for the eyes, especially as ive really tried improving the colouring/shading of skin and hair. However my colouring of eyes has always been relatively the same... So ive put real effort in trying to do things different while colouring the eyes and hopefully that effort shows. It was interesting and kinda time consuming but i loved the results and ill certainly look at doing that way for future pieces :3

I actually did a coloured version of this as well... I prefer this version. It was different, challenging and i love it
